Once you have secured your date at Hockwold Hall, things don’t suddenly go quiet, in fact, this is when the planning really starts to take shape.
Everything is designed to feel clear and supported, so you always know what the next step is and when it is happening.
You Get Access to the Client Portal
After booking, one of our event coordinators will set you up on the client portal. This is your central place for everything wedding-related and where all your key information lives in one place.
Inside the portal, you will have access to:
-Accommodation lists
-Drinks ordering
-Your wedding timeline
-Layout options and planning details
It keeps everything organised and easy to refer back to as your plans develop.
Your First Planning Meeting (Around 6 Months Before)
The first official planning meeting usually takes place around six months before your wedding. This is typically held in person at the venue and is where things really start coming together.
In this meeting, your coordinator will go through your portal with you, talk through your plans so far, and start shaping the details of your day, including how the spaces will be used and how everything will flow.
It is also a chance to ask questions, refine ideas, and make sure everything is on track for your vision.
Your Final Check-In (Around 1 Month Before)
Closer to your wedding day, you will have a final planning call, usually around one month before the event.
This is more of a final check-in to confirm all the details are correct, including timings, layouts, and any last updates. It is essentially a final run-through to make sure everyone is aligned and nothing is missed.
By this point, everything should feel locked in and ready to go.
A Simple, Supported Process
From booking through to your wedding day, the aim is to keep things straightforward. You always know what stage you are at, what is coming next, and who to speak to if you need anything.
A Final Thought
Booking your wedding venue is just the beginning. At Hockwold Hall, the process after that is about building everything together step by step, so when your wedding day arrives, it already feels familiar, organised, and completely under control.
