Is there parking?
We offer ample free on-site parking for all guests. For those with limited mobility, vehicles can easily pull up to the front entrance via our large circular drive for convenient drop-off. We kindly ask that cars be returned to the main guest car park once drop-off is complete.
Are you a hotel?
Hockwold Hall is not a hotel or bed & breakfast. We do not have a reception desk, 24-hour staff, or breakfast service. Our rooms are part of the venue’s exclusive wedding accommodation and are allocated directly by the couple to their guests. Rooms are not available to book individually or on a per-room basis.
Is confetti permitted at the venue?
Yes, but with restrictions. Only fresh or dried flower petals may be used. Please do not bring paper or biodegradable confetti, as it will be confiscated. If the couple has chosen to include a confetti throw, they will provide the approved confetti for all guests. We have animals on site, and paper-based confetti can be harmful to them.
Is Hockwold Hall and outdoor venue?
Yes, most of our ceremonies take place in our beautiful outdoor ceremony area. Our gardens are well manicured and very well kept. However, in the event of recent wet weather, we recommend that guests wear suitable footwear for outdoor conditions.
What is the check-in and check-out time for on-site accommodation?
Our couples set the check-in times for their guests, please check with the couple what time you can access your bedroom. Check-out time is 10am.
Are pets allowed?
Please check with the couple before bringing any pets. Only approved animals, such as service animals or those permitted under special circumstances, are allowed on site. As we have our own resident animals at Hockwold Hall, we’re unable to accommodate additional furry guests without prior approval.

Please note that our alcohol licence operates from 12 pm to 11 pm on weekdays and 12 pm to 12 am on weekends. Guests are not permitted to consume their own alcohol during these times. Anyone found consuming alcohol not purchased from the venue during these times will have it confiscated. Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the premises.
What time does the reception end?
11pm Sunday-Thursday and 12am on Fridays & Saturdays. Please be sensible and safe when travelling home. We’re happy to recommend several local taxi companies if you need transport arrangements.
Is there somewhere quiet for nursing mothers or young children?
