Accessibility at Hockwold Hall

When you arrive at the hall, our friendly team will be here to warmly welcome you and assist with anything you may need. For your convenience, the hall has a ground-floor restroom, our staff are also available to guide you to our reduced mobility toilet located in our banquet hall, a neighbouring building, if that facility is prefered.

During the Ceremony:

No matter where the couple chooses to hold their ceremony, we are dedicated to accommodating all needs. For outdoor ceremonies, our event coordinators are ready to assist guests in finding accessible routes, ensuring a comfortable journey without crossing the lawn. Simply let us know your seating preferences, and we’ll adjust the seating to make sure you have a comfortable and prime spot for the special moment when the couple tie the knot.

After the Ceremony:

Following the ceremony and welcome drinks reception, we will head over to the marquee for dinner and festivities. A paved path leads to our marquee, equipped with ramps for effortless entry.

Due to its’ classic architecture, Hockwold Hall itself does not have any downstairs bedrooms which is why we made sure our newly renovated Inn features accessible ground-level bedrooms. The Inn offers three ground-floor bedrooms accessible through a side entrance with a disability ramp. One room is thoughtfully designed with wheelchair access and mobility support in mind, featuring an ensuite wet room, while the other rooms also provide easy wheelchair entry for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the Inn’s spacious car park is just a two-minute drive from Hockwold Hall, making it a convenient accommodation choice for guests who may require extra accessibility options.
